Imtiaz Ali to launch Pakistani babe Nargis Fakhri in 'Rockstar'

New Delhi: Known for his romantic comedies, director Imtiaz Ali is all set to launch New York based half Czech and half Pakistani model, Nargis Fakhri in his upcoming film “Rockstar” Earlier Imtiaz launched Brazillian model Giselle Monteria in “Love Aaj Kal”.
Nargis has been selected to play a role opposite to Ranbir Kapoor. She has also featured in 2009 Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar.
“I haven’t visited Pakistan, my father’s homeland once,” Fakhri said. She also revealed that her mixed percentage of Pakistani and Czech gives her an exotic look which is appreciated in international fashion faces. “No one can place where I am from,” she added.
A spokesperson from Eros International, the films' co-producers said that a formal announcement about the leading lady is yet to be made.
