Following in the footsteps of Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu is all set to rake in the actresses of Bollywood on the small screen.
The dusky damsel, Bipasha Basu will soon be seen hosting an upcoming reality show, Female Model Hunt. If the deal comes through, Bipasha Basu may become the highest-paid woman celebrity on Indian television. The show will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Idiot Box. The format of the show hosted by Bipasha Basu is inspired from popular US show America's Next Top Model. Red Chillies has begun inviting applications from contestants. They are yet to finalize which channel will air the show.
Bipasha Basu’s paycheck is expected to be fatter than Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen and Rani Mukherji who are also making big money on television. While Sushmita is believed to have been offered almost Rs 50 lakh for an appearance in an upcoming show, Raaz Pichlay Janam Ka, Rani, too, is creating a murmur with her debut television stunt as celebrity judge. She is earning Rs 50 lakh per episode for judging Sony's Dance Premier League. Preity Zinta is believed to have signed The Preity Zinta Show, a celebrity chat show and is reportedly set to receive Rs 60 lakh per episode.
