Shahrukh Khan’s forthcoming film previously tilted as ‘Billu Barber’ has been changed to ‘Billu’ only. It appears that the name was causing controversies, since an association of hairdressers felt was offensive and belittling them and their career. People, even hair dressers got feelings! Watch out, since you don’t want the wrath of this association getting to you.
Shahrukh, also the producer of the film, has had a discussion with the representatives of the Salon and Beauty Parlors Association over the matter. Consequently, it was decided that that the name should be changed to Billu only. Thus, the name would be changed in all the posters and hoardings of the movie.
Although, SRK felt it wasn’t much of an issue in the previous name, but Red Chillies Productions deeply regards people’s feelings and sensibilities. He, mentioning it to a news channel said, ““Posters and hoardings belong to the production, which is Red Chillies. It is a little expensive to try to change the posters, so, that we couldn’t have done.”
Poor SRK. Let’s just hope the movie is up-to-th-mark, otherwise all the effort would end up uselessly in dumps.
