Pakistani singer Adeel says he is hurt by the decision of the Indian producer of Jugaad to scrap the film’s promotional video featuring him. This was done because of the move that came in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.
He said that he felt bad, as he worked very hard on the song, Kise Awaz dun, and the promotional video, which the Indian producer have scrapped now. He was not even called for the music launch of the film on 2nd January. Before this, Adeel was also belted out the popular song Move your body in the Indian movies Kisamt Konnection.
On the other hand, Indian producer Sunddeep Kapur is saying that we had signed Adeel 8-10 months earlier to the attacks, but after 26/11, keeping in mind the sentiments of the people and the general mood in the country, we decided to scrap the music video and not to give any extra attention to the song, Kise Awaz dun. He said that this is a very emotional song and this song is the highlight of me film but I would rather go with what the people of India have decided. He is going to shoot a new video without Adeel.
Indian producer is thinking only about the people of his country and Adeel is feeling bad and on the view that dragging artist in such a way is unfair.
