Let's Make Patriotism Hip

Although Pakistan is going through a hard time but let us all make this Independence day special with my Independence Day Fashion Tips and show off our patriotism to the world.

On August 14, 2010 our beloved country Pakistan will be 63 years old but I guess very few of us are really keyed up for our Independence Day. Freedom is a real blessing from God, ask those who are deprived of it. So I was thinking why not once again make 'Being Patriotic' the 'in thing'?

Therefore I am suggesting some fashion trends you can adopt on this Independence Day and show off your love for your country. Here you can find ways to make Pakistan's Independence Day special this year with all the trouble around by going 'Fashionista'. So let's call them the Independence Day Fashion Trends.

My first Independence Day Fashion Trends suggestion is that get your own clothes stitched in green and white shades i.e. your can have a white bell-bottoms, green long-shirt and white dupatta with green borders around it. You can always wear some "jhumkaas", make a side braid and look 'desi' yet patriotic at the same time.
Buy some plain white T-shirts and paint them your self with innovative slogans like 'I love Pak' 'Pakistan my Jaan'. 'Pakistani Rockistani', 'Proud Paki', 'Pakistan Zindabad', 'Paki 4 Life', 'Paki Pride', 'Patriot Paki' etc.
Make wearing Pakistani Flag Badges the new Independence Day Fashion Trend promote these badges, encourage your peers to wear them and make them look cool.
If you are lucky enough to have a car you can adopt last year's Independence Day fashion Trend that was to get a Paki Flag painted on your car.
My Independence Day Fashion Trends also includes some makeup tips (Everything is possible in Fashion :p ). Girls must know candy color eye makeup is hip this year and also the mint green color. So why not take advantage of the trend and give those eyes a green and white touch-up. You can have nude lips and apply a light blush on for finishing.
Another suggestion for Independence Day Fashion Trends is to make bandanas out of Pakistan's Flag available in the market.
You can also wear your flag like you wear a keffiyeh and drape it around your neck.
Making tattoos with poster paints has always been followed in Pakistan so last but not the least my Independece Day Fashion Trend tip says you can also make tattoos on your face, arms, hands or anywhere you like showing it off.

These are some of my suggestions you can also work out your own ideas and make innovative Independence Day Fashion Trends. Just keep in mind to respect the integrity of your flag and do not dishonor it by any means. Other than that follow these Independence Day Fashion Trends and show the world how much you love Pakistan.
