Sarah Salman’s womenswear collection entitled ‘Chaand Begum’ at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Lahore 2011 was inspired from the sub continent era from 1940 to 1947.

Sarah Salman’s womenswear collection entitled ‘Chaand Begum’ at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Lahore 2011 was inspired from the sub continent era from 1940 to 1947.

The collection was a fresh revival of ‘Begums and Nawabs’ elegant vintage style of dressing during that period specific to royal dinners, festive and colorful events.

Sarah Salman's latest collection with its classic vintage cuts reflected pre and post partition wardrobe styles using fabrics such as chiffons, chicken and satin embellished with hand embroideries, mirrors and crystals.

Talking about their label the designer Sarah Salman said “Each day should mark a birth of a new idea, new design and a new statement.”
