Eric Choong at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

Eric Choong admires Audrey Hepburn utterly and tremendously, as it was evident by this collection at the Fashion Pakistan Week 2, day 3.

Eric Choong is actually inspired by the legendary actress and great humanitarian. According to Eric, nobody wore the “little black dress” like Ms Hepburn. He has a modern take of the “little black dress” in duchesse satin with a belted waist. The evening gowns in this collection were inspired by Ms Hepburn’s wardrobe in war and Peace, My Fair Lady, Sabrina and Love in the Afternoon. A very important silhouette in this blush pink, champagne and black silk chiffon collection was the structured A-line shape that is voluminous yet fluid and lightweight in feeling. Each piece was embroidered with French lace and encrusted with CRYSTALLIZED ™ - Swarovski Elements to add that edge of high voltage glamour.
