There are four basic kitchen design layouts that are popularly used in all kitchen designs.

You should allow sufficient walking space between two rows; a safe walk-through corridor allows easy contact to the whole kitchen. L-shaped Kitchen Design layout: This is the most popular kitchen design layout and best solution where the kitchen can fit into a corner.
U-shaped Kitchen Design layout: This layout is suitable as all working areas are within simple reach. This Kitchen Design layout is appropriate for small rooms and also for larger rooms.
Island Kitchen Design layout: This Kitchen Design is considered luxurious; the island Kitchen Design layout needs a fairly large room. This Kitchen Design reduces the amount of walking you need to do.
