Summiya Warsi & Taheen Perflife at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

The Mughal era with all its glory and magnificence is playing a fundamental role in Summiya Warisy’s summer collection.
Her inspiration is specifically drawn from the regal jewelry of the time. At the Fashion Pakistan Week 2, day 3, Summiya Warisy transformed her collection using pure silk, palachi, and jamawar, as she took the audience back in time. Vivid red as well as timeless ivory, silver and gold compliment her garments perfectly. She aimed to showcase her work through draping and exquisite styling, which she believes is necessary for any look. New to the fashion scene, Summiya turned heads through her garments on the runway.

Summiya
props included hand-made, self designed rose armbands which were created using velvet, pearls and satin. Summiya reveled in the romantic feel of her collection with the experience of ‘Mughal Jewel Romance’.
