Textile and retail brand, Alkaram Studio showcased their Spring Summer 2016 collection in the voile show segment at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2016. Inspired by the season of travel and resorts, the designs comprised of vintage florals paired with crochets and lace with bold peacock and preppy Ajrak prints.
Zari, Macrame and Corneli lace work embellished with crystals and stones adorn the streamlined silhouettes for the collection. The menswear pieces featured contemporary color blocking, textured embroideries and denim finishes.
Luxurious nets in vibrant reds and navy blues bring the retro boldness of sophisticated cruise wear while pastel hued chikankaris and jacquards mixed with sun kissed tans and golds highlight the ease of contemporary elegance.
