The much-anticipated Bollywood comedy flick ‘The Shaukeens’ has released in cinemas across Pakistan on 7th November 2014.

A remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 classic comedy film Shaukeen, The Shaukeens, is a feel-good adventure movie that follows three middle-aged men played by Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Anupam Kher, who venture on a trip to Mauritius, where they meet the sizzling hot Lisa Haydon. The film also features Akshay Kumar in a very interesting special appearance. Akshay plays an important cameo, while Lisa Haydon plays opposite Akshay Kumar.

The three main characters of the film, Laali played by Kher, Kapoor as KD and Pinky played by Mishra, want to add a little spice to their boring lives and plan a trip to Mauritius.

Akshay, for the first time in his career, will play himself in the film. However, some negative elements have been added to the actor's character. He will be seen as an arrogant and alcoholic superstar. In one such instance, Akshay is seen throwing off his fan's camera and ask her to seek his permission before clicking his picture.
