Humaima Malick was honored for the first time at the 11th Lux Style Awards 2012 as Best Actress for her stunning performance in Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Bol’. This was a special award for Humaima as there were no other nominees in the category and she was handpicked by the jury for this award. Back stage she commented, “It’s wonderful to be recognized like this. I have been a part of LSA for quite a while now, but I’m very happy to have been given this award.”
The Lux Style Awards is the only awards ceremony of its kind in Pakistan that presents to the Pakistan’s best in Fashion, Music, Film and Television. It also provided a much needed entertainment away from all that is happening in the country at the moment. One of the most prominent feature of this year’s awards was the increase in the award categories to 26 this year.
