Time to get rid of ultra curly, frizzy hair and there are many kinds of hair relaxers to help you. These hair relaxers are very delicate form of depilatory, as they soften hair to a certain level where it can easily be restructured into a straighter form. The result is that your hair looks smoother, shinier, and is more manageable.
A hair relaxer follows a periodic reapplication of six weeks to maintain a perfect appearance. As the hair grows, the part which is nearer to the scalp will return to its original shape.
Most of the hair relaxers are alkaline to a certain degree, regardless of the type of relaxer you use. For this reason, it is smart to neutralize or even slightly acidify the hair after treatment.
Always keep in mind that there are different types of relaxers for different types of hair. Depending on the kind of hair relaxer there are different treatments. In addition to balance out the hair, hair conditioning done in shampoo causes the natural oils to be strip away and relaxers help to relax and replace the natural oil.
If you ever get a chance to see hair relaxers, leave it to the professionals to work it out for you because the chemicals in hair relaxers and hair straighteners are quite unpredictable.
Hair relaxers and straighteners weaken the hair and causes hair loss. Great care must be taken in the first application and particularly in touch up applications. This is one of the reasons to leave hair relaxer to a professional and experienced hair stylist but give it a try for once!
